Mary is a very correct little
doeling with a star-studded background. Her dam, Splash O'
Honey, is an extremely promising young doe who snatched a
grand-champion as a dry yearling and has placed near, or at, the
top of her class each time shown as a first freshener. Her
udder texture and large orifices make her an absolute dream to
milk, and her udder attachments promise a good career in the
show ring.
Splash's dam, Tupelo Honey (ARMCH Rosasharn's Under My Thumb 'E'
x ARMCH Rosasharn's Buckwheat Honey 3*D LA91 & '07 AGS
National Champ), has done extremely well in the show ring - even
going Best Doe In Show - an admirable feat for a Nigerian, and
comes from some of the best animals the East Coast has to offer.
Mary's sire, Montego Bay, is the son of two legendary Nigerians;
GCH/MCH Gay-Mor's JJU Nonpareil 3*D (1*M) LA92 3 x BDIS and MCH
Twin Creeks BH Baywatch *++S. Montego himself has sired
three finished champion animals, and many other daughters with
milking legs in various registries and high appraisal scores -
including a first freshener who appraised at VVVE FS89 last
year. With beautiful animals like that standing behind
her, I think Mary has a very bright future.
